2012 Biennial of the IPS - Part 1: South Thailand Pre-Tour - IPS

After spending a few days in a hostel in Miami and then camping in Key Largo, it's time to try a real hotel. And that hotel! We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Marathon, Florida, from 16 to 18 December.

Think of everything that you like in a hotel. Breakfast showered, swimming pool, wi-fi for free, giant bed, gym, your pet traveling with you ... The Holiday Inn Marathon offers it all! We babamos the hotel and you'll see why now, in our assessment.

We started with a wonderful surprise. The breakfast is one of the best I've ever experienced in an American hotel. Most offers so-called Continental Breakfast, which is the real coffee, juice and bagel. At Holiday Inn Marathon has everything: cereal, pancakes, cinnamon rolls exclusive, breads, cupcakes, sausages, eggs ... is incredible. We eat too much while we were there! Without doubt, the best breakfast of the trip.

In the Florida Keys, the tip is to rent a car. You can not run the islands to Key West bus, much less by taxi. That said, the location is very good just because it gets in the way. Instead of being "jumping" from hotel to hotel every city, you can stay in a hotel very central and easily move to where you want. The Holiday Inn Marathon caters very well to everybody who wants to know all the surrounding islands. As we were on the bus, we failed to have a market close by which to buy edibles.

The internet offered by the hotel is free, fast and caters very well the rooms and common areas.

Our room had 2 huge and super comfortable beds, flat screen TV, hairdryer, ironing facilities and coffee. Won all but 5 stars because it had a microwave and fridge. Otherwise, the room is perfect. The bathroom is also show the ball and has a bath!

General Facilities

We send quite well in the premises. Right in front of our room was the heated pool. Even in the chill gave to enjoy! Parking is free and supports up trailers with boats. The Business Center is also interesting, with internet access and printer 24/7. The gym is also open 24 hours. For those who want to arrive by sea, the hotel offers a marina with room for 15 boats. Smoking is prohibited inside the hotel and they accept pets.

We were very well attended at the hotel. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful.

We recommend the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Marathon, Florida, with his eyes closed. Items that have earned 4 stars were very personal for us to cook and eat quite where we stayed (instead of eating in restaurants). Otherwise, the hotel is great and caters well couples, families and folks traveling together. They accept major credit cards and the price is pretty decent. Worth it!

  • Avatar Jordan Should I quit soccer even if I have a scholarship?

I am a junior in high school, and I play club soccer (travel team) for central Florida How could you say it's an excuse? A lot if things have happened to me, but idk what to do.

    • If you've been given a full ride and you're still a junior then you must be a huge superstar. Scholarships usually aren't handed out until one's senior year.

Do you have another way to pay for school? Can y …ur ticket to coming out of college debt free. You'll never make anywhere near that type off money with a part time job in college. Losing interest is a weak excuse for 4 more years of a 'job' that is paying you that much.
