Norwegian Breakaway arrives in New York, her homeport for life

Posted on May 13, 2013 – 00:00
The newest ship in the Norwegian Cruise Line, Norwegian Breakway recently delivered by the German shipyard Meyer Werft, who built the last three years, reached its port-based lifetime, the city of New York, USA.

Once approved in sea trials in late March, had already done some pre-inaugural cruises in Northern Europe so it could be presented to the press and travel agents in the region, and conducted a transatlantic cruise from Southampton, UK and own city of New York. Largest city in the United States, was baptized by rockets, a group of traditional dancers in town.

With capacity for up to 5, 100 passengers, the ship first class Breakaway, which will have at least two representatives, was designed to travel from New York, and will offer cruises to Bermuda and the Caribbean since the "world capital" throughout the year .

In 2014, a twin win, already under construction, the Norwegian Getaway. Although twins, the ships will have changes in their projects related to their ports-base; designed to sail from Miami, the Getaway shall incorporate the spirit over the tropical capital of Florida.

Why not stress the positives?

This is still a great market in most areas of the country. I could write an article right now, quoting hard facts and statistics, to back that up. It would be just as truthful as what the Post just ran.
The only really alarming number is the inventory, and even that's still not out-of-line with historical standards, at least not in the DC area. If sales are dropping, that's only relative t...eal estate investing and not stock investing? The print media relies heavily on real estate for income, far more than on stocks.
P.S. Try reading two newspapers or watching two evening news broadcasts. I'm not claiming it's a conspiracy exactly, but there's a lot more similarities than one might expect. The lead stories are often all exactly the same and they're not what I would've chosen.

  • Avatar vbrown3844 Does anyone know good websites to book holidays on?
    Mar 13, 2011 by vbrown3844 | Posted in Orlando

I have looked on expedia and travel agents websites but nothing wows me. Im looking to book a holiday to Orlando but the prices are all similar so I was hoping to find a website that is safe and have good prices. Please let me know if you know of any THANKS!

    • There are many excellent places to book holidays, however, it can be hard to find them amidst the thousands of choices on the internet. Look for someone who has actually gone through the College of Disney Knowledge, who is licensed by the State of Florida, bonded, and who guarantees their prices.

      Have a great trip!

  • Avatar vbrown3844 Do you think 30kg is enough for a trip to Florida for shopping?
    Sep 28, 2008 by vbrown3844 | Posted in Orlando

I am goign to florida in a week and im going shopping as well as other things. I am worried I wont be able to buy much because thats not enough weight!

I would like to buy clothes, make up, shoes etc help!

    Any tips?

    • If your baggage allowance isn't sufficient then mail the excess to yourself. Remove the items from the store packaging, take off the price tags, wear the items once, and send them to yourself as "used clothing". …y shops will ship purchases for you for a fee. You normally don't have to pay sales tax on items being shipped to an address outside Florida, so that off-sets the shipping cost.

Hope you have a great trip!
