Apr 23, 2010 by Donnie | Posted in Orlando

I'm taking a vacation with my girlfriend in Florida in June and we're looking for fun things to do besides Disney and Universal. We'll be in Orlando for a bit, also Safety Harbor and the surrounding area, like St. Pete, Tampa, and Lakeland. We're even considering going to the Keys. If anyone has any cool ideas for places to go or things to see that aren't what the regular tourists do, please let me know! Thanks!

    • Orlando:

      1. Ripleys Believe or Not
      2. WonderWorks
      3. Titanic Experience
      4. Holyland
      5. Orange County history Center (this is a really cool place. Its housed in an old 3 story cou …this is plus during the hot, humid summers of Florida.
      2. Silver Springs

Well this all I can think of for now. If I have any other ideas I will let you know. Feel free to message me w/ any questions.

  • Avatar Deb How much would it cost to go to Disney world?
Oct 12, 2011 by Deb | Posted in Orlando

If two adults and a 7 year old drove to Florida from Arkansas,
We'd have to buy gas and food
Then provably admission for each different place
Then a bundle of tickets for each different place
Then …going to Disney world? Do you really have to buy a $60 admission for each section? How much might a good amount of tickets cost? Then the hotel might be about $80 per night right?
Can someone tell me what to expect?

    • "like one stay at the hotel."
Depends on when you go and what type of room you stay in

"Do you really have to buy a $60 admission for each section?"
A one day admission to …
"Then the hotel might be about $80 per night right?"
No, not even close. Double that at least if you are going during value season. Triple it for regular season and quadruple it for peak season.
